Welcome to the world Theodore Alan!!
He is 8 lbs, 8 oz and 21" long. Born at 2:29 pm December 13, 2008!!
First photo I took as I entered the room!
Theo in his infant crib about to be tightly swaddled by his nurse.
Nana holding "Teddy" for the first time. He is named after his late grandfather, Theodore.
A proud Nana moment! By the way, it is totally coincidental that I dressed all in blue today and that this morning, I whimsically changed my blog color to blue!! As another aside, both my sister and I dreamed that the baby was a boy and that his name would be Theodore!
The happy family!
After 36 tough hours, Alison gave birth naturally, as she planned! She never complained and was good natured, as always, through the entire process. She is now thoroughly exhausted.
I am happy beyond any mere words. For so many reasons, through so many tears and years of waiting he will be very, very loved.
Thank you to everyone who who has inquired and sent love and wishes. Now I must sleep!!
PS. Positive thoughts for our friend, Bob. He is very very sick. As I write, LM has called the local rescue team and they are now on the way to the ER. Not sure what will happen. I visited them for a short while tonight and came away very worried. He is in the capable hands of LM and his God.
Also, I visited Dad and he was GREAT today - very thrilled about baby Teddy.

Congratulations on this new baby grandson. I smile. He is a beautiful baby. So sorry about your friend.
Congratulations to your family on the safe arrival of little Teddy. And restful wishes to the new mum. SLEEP WHEN THE BABY SLEEPS is the best advice ever.
And prayers for Bob, and strength for you and LM.
xx
Oh he is the most beautiful baby. His Florida Auntie can't wait to see him, just may have to escape up there soon.
