All is well.....we got through the calling hours buoyed by lots of prayers and positive thoughts. Met so many wonderful friends of Bob's. It was rather joyous and despite the long drive back in thick fog and heavy rain, we are up and ready after 3 hrs sleep and off to the funeral.

Dad is very unstable and I will be anxious to get to see him this afternoon. Trish said yesterday that he was really struggling. We talked about getting hospice/comfort care for him so he can rest a little easier. Painful for us but wise for him.

Be back tomorrow sometime.

Sending thoughts of deep peace and of rest and of healing for the body, the mind and the soul.

In my minds eye I have lit a candle for you and will carry it with me for the next few days. You have many people sending you good wishes and thoughts. Let those thoughts stay with you and wash over you as the tides wash over the sand, renewing, changing, refreshing.

For you dad I also send thoughts of peace and rest.

You will be ok, spring is coming,

Samantha, Ernestine and Jeff....oh, my, I am so grateful for all the positive energy and prayers. They are a light in the tunnel for me at the darkest times. We got through Bob's funeral gracefully and even with some laughs.
Dad's life is blossomed for a very long time and now as he fades, we are all looking back at the treasures he has left us. A beautiful gift with indelible memories. Thanks for sharing your caring with me. You add beauty and a reminder of the innate goodness of mankind!
