A Growing Boy

My Florida daughter has returned home after a few weeks at their home on Eleuthera in the Bahamas
This morning she sent me this photo of impy Theo helping to sort the mail. It sounds like he is not the least bit hindered by his cast to repair the broken leg which happened while "Mummy and Daddy" were away. I do believe he is saved by his cuteness.

Saw the Dr today and will begin a two week trial of Cymbalta to help with my symptoms. I am very apprehensive but have agreed, after a long consultation, that it is necessary to start somewhere.
The first few weeks can be very dicey and I have been warned and will need to ask people to observe and react if necessary.

Of course, today I felt fairly even. The visit with the Dr was emotional....she is wonderful and supportive. I feel like I need to write about this here. Soon I hope my posts will have a much more upbeat nature.

I will be remembering you in my thoughts and prayers.
I am reluctant to give my thoughts and opinion because what works for one person may not work for another.
All of us have a different belief system.
I worked through severe anxiety and depression without medication.
I did not think I was going to make it.
Hugs sent your way.

Whie we don't know each other-at least face to face (yet), we are all connected and we need to support each other. I have battled depression and anxiety as well. Most people I know have at some point in their lives. As Ernestine said, it is different for all of us. Talking about it is best-as you do here-so don't stop! Many times when I feel low, a change of scenery-a friends voice on the phone-a walk along the water-anything to change the direction of my thinking. But that's me-yes, we're all different. And sometimes it get's tough to think of anything else. Those are the times for hugs and reaching out. Hang in there-someday we will meet and until then, you remain in my thoughts with hope in each smile to come for you! Oh-and many people I know have done very well with meds-when right, they can be life changing-so I'm told. Take joy in the ocean that is at your door at all hours-a great place to tell your hopes, fears-tears-and release. Ann NY/CC PS......love the photo-thanks!
