Thanks for all the concerns, everyone. A little note here to say we are fine. Power is coming back on gradually everywhere, although some may be out for as much as a week. There are so many broken trees and branches, and in other areas of our state and New England, the flooding is catastrophic. Really awful, especially Vermont.
Back to work, and I will post very soon with some pictures of Ms. G.

Good news, looking forward to Ms G pictures.
They showed the devastation the floods left in her wake this morning - bunch of different cities and country towns - what a nightmere for sooooo many people! Have no idea what they will do. Most of them were in tears. Felt so bad for them. Glad your power is going on a little at a time....debbie
Vermont--so devastating. Yet--I see no people walking around screaming, "Where is the government!" Vermont--such a very cool place.
So glad your homes are okay and all is well.
so glad things are returning to semi-normal. When we had Hurricane Elvis here (high winds 100mph) I went 12 days with no power....you get grumpy after a while....
