On the Road Again

We're off to Long Island, NY this morning. It is a working trip as we will bring back a car for the local KIA dealer. Fun, fun, though, as we will take the ferry across Long Island Sound and enjoy some sunshine. It will be a lovely time for us to be alone and catch our breath, as well as see some of our favorite haunts.
We have both been dealing with some worry this week - me with family members having major surgery, and still nursing my shoulder, and LM, with John being unable to procure a job due to his record. We are digging deep for help in many direction. There just has to be a way to help these young offenders get a leg up to make a life for themselves.

I do have progress with my shoulder and credit it all to my sterling "Team of Four." I am so fortunate to have 4 women practitioners of alternative healing arts helping me...my chiropractor, acupuncturist, massage therapist and yoga instructor. They are all wonderfully loving and gifted healers. Long ago I realized that taking a pill is not the cure-all and that was all I would get from my MD, even though, she too is another lovely woman.

So as we welcome a new month, I must also say how much I appreciate all my wonderful readers and friends I have who visit me here on Ms Graysea!! I'll be thinking of you and sending you the wonderful healing energy of the ocean as we sail across to Long Island tomorrow morning.
Alas, Ms G will be home keeping an eye on her castle surrounds and monitoring her avian fleet, We will have snuggle time on Sunday!

I can empathize over finding a job for John. Our niece has now returned to drugs. I think she could have made it if she could have found work. I just don't know what this country is going to do about this situation. I can see both sides of the issue but it is really a hard one to solve.

Hope you have a wonderful week-end.

Have a wonderful time this weekend. I'm glad you get some time away.

I do wish John could find a job. It is so discouraging to hear these things. Has he tried any type of construction work, or is there that type of work available?

I think you are very wise to have put together your team of four. Get better soon.
