Perspective

The Haiti earthquake compels me to take a look at the mundane complaining I do about my everyday life. Our state has the third largest Haitian population in the US and it must be so painful for them to not know what has happened to their loved ones at this time. My heart goes out to all touched by this tragedy.
There are sites on all news pages where anyone can offer to help. It seems the only thing besides prayer, that we can do from here.

I agree. Makes many of my problems look petty in comparison!

Hope today is a better day :)

The pictures on the news are staying in my mind tonight. Prayer is something I can do....

A tragic, tragic situation. We made a donation to the Clinton Foundation, specifically for Haiti...and offered up prayers.

What a horrific catastrophy they have there. The problems is they are just so poor, they have no resourses to help them. Thank goodness for the good people flying and boating in to help. Makes our problems seem small like you said. ...debbie
