Mum

Today would have been Mum's 93rd birthday and it is also the anniversary of the day she died in 2001.
I even think this photo was taken on a Christmas eve....maybe around 1961. The cup on the chair arm belonged to the punch bowl set and most likely held some eggnog.
Happy Birthday, Mum.....you are with me all the time. I love you so much.

Happy Birthday sweet Nana, and to my baby Marshall who is 18 today. I love the fact that he was born on her birthday, he is a beautiful reminder of her for me.

My thoughts are with you today Mama, we all are better people because of her.

Happy Birthday to your Mum. I think I will hold up a cup of spiked eggnog and give her a happy salute. I do just happen to have some in the fridge. May today bless you and your family with jolly memories of Christmas pasts...debbie

Thank you all for your very kind notes. It is very interesting to me that I got through the day beautifully, and there were more than a handful of reasons to cherish the day.
Having a dear, dear grandson born on Mum's birthday makes the day so beautiful in so many ways.
