I've been absent in these parts for a bit....been sick for about 5 weeks and only Saturday after an emergency trip to the hospital, do I have what better be a definitive diagnosis. Three weeks were wasted getting to where I am now. I was falsely diagnosed with diverticulitis. On Saturday I became acutely ill and it turns out I was right about it being a UTI....it had 3 weeks to percolate into a full-blown emergency. DRAT. So painful. Come what may, LM and I are hitting the road at 3 am this Wed. I will try to update with photos when I can.

GOOD GRIEF!!! I had no idea a UTI could get that bad. The infection mas been going on a long time, it seems. Don't you just love doctors and their incorrect findings? NOT!! Enjoy your trip--drink lots of water and take your Bactrim or whatever they gave you.
Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I have battling a UTI also. I'm still not sure it is kicked. I'm thankful they finally figured out what is wrong. Take care of yourself and get better. Follow doctor's orders.
