Humanity is shining in Boston today, despite the horrific events of yesterday. Hope is in the helpers, as we've been told through the years. Those helpers, of all types, continue to renew our faith in mankind.
Thank you, thank you!
I was also there back in 1995--April 19th--the day of the Oklahomoa City bombing--which stunned us all as we watched the marathon in Boston. Patriot's Day is wonderful, as is the marathon, but the beauty of the event was dimmed by what had happened in OKC. Now--to think this could happen in Boston--makes me so sad. I spent many wonder days in Boston, over the years my youngest lived there.
