Happy Birthday, Dad

Happy Birthday, Dad. I miss you more with every passing day, yet you are with me all the time. Ev's been visiting a lot and we speak of you often especially the fact that you would love to see all we've been seeing together.  You loved seeing new things, eating at new fine restaurants and enjoying family. We are doing our very best to carry on your favorite traditions.
My heart brims with tearful gratitude this day and everyday.

I love you!

We always miss them on their special days and at Holiday's don't we. As long as there is one person in this world that is still alive to remember them, their prescence lives on.

The thought of not having either of my parents with me any longer scares me on a daily basis. At 75 and 84 they are still doing pretty well, but the signs are there. Slowing down, repeating, memory loss...
I dread the day it comes.

We miss them every day. Some days more than others, for what ever reason and especially so on their Birthday. At least we can smile at all the fond memories and their silly ways ...debbie
