Field conditions have been poor, but training is going on everyday!! This is my right field view all day from my desk. Someone came and fired a gun above the "players'" heads, they took off in a massive black cloud, and were back within 1/2 hour....training must go on! You can still see blizzard remnants near the bleachers.
What a wonderful article!!! It makes me so sad to see this house go into ruin. It seems the town could have restored it for a museum. My mother would be sad--she loved homes like this and, on her one and only visit to Sandwich, proclaimed it was her most favorite town in America.
I am so glad to see the geese are doing so well in their exercising--I suppose they need to be returned to some nice marsh where their poop and loud noises won't disrupt the citizens.
